Newbie question: system upgrade
I have a STB and a XBOX that have optical audio outputs that I have connected to my surround sound receiver. I used to also run my component video cables It says you can get 5.1 from the optical output provided if the TV is hooked up to an external source that is delivering 5.1, so theoretically it should work.
